Inger was born about 1709, and was probably from a lappish family from Jokkmokk in Sweden.
She married Einar Jakobsen on 16 Jul 1724 in Jokkmokk, and settled with him at Seljeås Øvre.
Einar died in 1753, and Inger was recorded as a widow running the impoverished farm in 1762. Her son, Thomas took over half the farm in 1758, but only got the second half in 1769. After getting thrown out by Thomas, Inger moved to her daughter Anne at Kosmo-Eide (Vestvatnli/Østerkløft) where she lived until her death in 1771.
