Biography

Amund was born about 1758.

In 1801, 43-year-old Amund lived on Ommestad farm with his second wife, Anne Halvorsdatter, and his children Ole, Amund, Morten, Christian, Iver, and Hellena.^[1]

Amund married Helene Olsdatter first. They had several children together, including:

• Amund, born about 1790 at Ommestad farm^[2]
• Morten, born about 1791 at Ommestad farm^[3]
• Christian, born about 1795 at Ommestad farm^[4]
• Iver, born about 1796 at Ommestad farm^[5]
• Helene, born 1798 at Ommestad farm^[6]

There was also a child named Ole, born about 1786, but it's not clear if Helene was his mother.^[7]

Amund's wife Helene died on July 21, 1798.^[8]

After Helene's death, Amund married Anne Halvorsdatter on October 23, 1800 in Grue parish. His residence was "Omestad, Hof Sogn" (Ommestad farm in Hof), and hers was Sæta.^[9] They had several children together, including:

• Jacob, born about 1803 at Omestad farm^[10]
• Martin, born about 1806 at Omestad farm^[11]
• Olava, born about 1808 at Omestad farm^[12]
• Another son named Martin, born 1811 at Omestad farm^[13]
• Amund, born about 1815 at Ommestad farm^[14]
