Ole was born in 1840. He passed away in 1916. He married Caroline Christina Heide on 15 November 1862 and came to the U.S.A in the spring of 1868. He and his wife with two children and his wife's mother Christiana Pedersdatter age 68 embarked on the sailing ship "Amelia" from the Port of Porsgrunn, Norway on the 19th of April 1868. They debarked at Port of Quebec, Canada on 11 June 1868. [1]
