Anton Peter Ananiassen Aarset was born on 13 Dec 1891 in Hjørundfjord, the son of Ananias Martinus Knudsen and Petrine Olsdatter.^[1]

In the 1900 census, Anton lived at Aarseth in Hjørundfjord with his parents and siblings.^[2]

In the 1920 census, Anton lived at Aarset in Hjørundfjord.^[3]

Anton emigrated to the United States, departing from Ålesund on 13 Feb 1925.^[4]

In his declaration of intention dated 1927, Anton was a carpenter and lived in Philadephia, PA.^[5]

In his petition for citizenship dated 1933, Anton lived in Seattle and worked as a fisherman.^[6] He was not married and had no children.

In his WWII draft registration, Anton lived in Seattle, Washington and worked on the skipper boat "Yakutah".^[7] His next of kin was Ray Hall.

In the 1950 census Anton (age 56) was the roomer of Bror J Forsgren in Seattle, King, Washington.^[8]

Anton married May Birchdale on 21 Mar 1961 in Seattle.^[9]

Anton died at Ballard General Hospital on 20 February 1966 aged 75.^[10][11] He was buried in Evergreen-Washelli Memorial Park in Seattle.^[12]
