Jules was born on March 2, 1837 in Bossut-Gottechain, Belgium. He is the son of Antoine Anciaux and Marie Mahy. He married Marie Louise Philips on September 10, 1863 in Bossut-Gottechain, Belgium. They had 4 daughters: Marie Adolphine Anciaux, Marie Therese Emilie Anciaux, Marie Leonie Anciaux, and Marie Leonie Anciaux. He was a day- labourer. He passed away.
