  • Henri Benoit was the son of Jean Anctil and Élisabeth Fournier. He was born 22 Mar 1775 and was baptized the next day in Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière. His godparents were Jean Baptiste Peltier and Josephe Anctil Dionne who both sign: Baptiste Peltier and Marie Josephe Anctil. [1]

Marie Josephte passed away in 1779.

Locations are in "Canada, Nouvelle-France" before February 10, 1763 ("Traité de Paris"). This "Canada" is different from the "Canada" name used after and at the Confederation of 1867.
