- Henri Benoit was the son of Jean Anctil and Élisabeth Fournier. He was born 22 Mar 1775 and was baptized the next day in Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière. His godparents were Jean Baptiste Peltier and Josephe Anctil Dionne who both sign: Baptiste Peltier and Marie Josephe Anctil. [1]
