Maren was born in 1738 in Solum.[1] She was the daughter of Anders Christiansen Veberg and Børte Haagensdatter.[1][2]
She was confirmed on 25 April 1756 in Solum.[3]
She is mentioned in her father's probate in 1760 as 20 years old and unmarried,[2] but not reliably identified later.
