Biography

Maria (Maja) Andersdotter was born on August 14, 1811 in Asby parish, Östergötland, Sweden.

She married Anders Peter Damm. They had children Catharina Lovisa b. 1832, Stina Lotta b. 1837, Anders Johan (1838-1844) Hedda Maria b. 1840, Gustava b. 1844, Mathilda Ulrica b. 1847 and Johan August b. 1849.

The family were farmers in Vinnersrum in Asby 1840-1852. They are noted to have moved out in the spring of 1852. The family is listed in the records for moving out of the parish, but without destination.[1]
