1795 Maja was born in Lilla Lindåsen, Älgarås (R). [1]
1812 Maja was condemned to death by the District Court (Häradsrätt) for attempt to poison the wife in the farm where she was working as a maid. The sentence was confirmed by the High Court (Göta Hovrätt), but the sentence was converted by the Supreme Court (Högsta Domstolen) to 6 years in prison.

1812 Maja started her prison sentence at Spinnhuset, Norrköping on 28 Sep.
1817 Maja was liberated from prison on 3 Dec and returned to Älgarås.
1818 Maja moved to Jonas Folkesson in Torp Södra, where the son Johannes is her future husband.
1818 Maja Greta married Johannes in Hova (R). [2][3]
1818-27 Maja lived with her family in Södra Torp.
1827 the family moved to Bratteberg.
1827-33 Maja lived with her family in Bratteberg.
1833 the family moved back to Torp Södra.
1859 Maja was warned by the vicar against drunkenness and bad behaviour towards husband and children and in a rage wanting to commit suicide.
1877 her husband died.
1878 Maja died as a widow in Torp Södra, Södra Råda (R). [4]
