She married Petter in 1852 and the family moved to Lindesberg in October of 1877.

She came to the US in the spring of 1880
[10] with her husband and family. They lived in Chicago for about 4 years but eventually settled in Grantsburg, Wisconsin where they remained until at least 1905.
