He married Inger Trulsdatter Krabbe (daughter of Truls Nielsen Krabbe and Kirsten Andersdatter).[1]
He died before 1717 in Skien.[1]
A probate was held on 2 March 1717 in Skien after the deceased Johannes Andersen Krabe. He left the widow Inger Trulsdatter and their children:
Guardian for the widow: the late man's cousin, monsr. Peder Olsen. The house was situated at Snipetorp, between Peder Olsen's ground to the north and "Schotlandhaugen" to the south.[1]
