Biography

Gertrude was born in 1895 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Carl 'Charles' Gustaf Anderson and Paulina 'Lena' Larsen. Gertrude grew up in Chicago with a brother Albert and sister Rachel. In 1916, she married Herbert Olaf Eddy in Chicago, IL. They remained in Chicago and raised two children together while Herbert worked in metal sheet manufacturing and later as a real estate estimator. Gertrude died in 1954 in Chicago and is buried with her husband in Acacia Park Cemetery in Norwood, IL.
