Biography
Elise was born in 1858. Information from Find a Grave: Born in Denmark, Elise Marie emigrated to New Zealand with her parents Peder and Grethe, and older sister Anna when she was a baby. Elise grew up in Mauriceville West and in the Danish tradition used the surname Pedersdatter.
She married widower Christopher Eriksen on the 12th of February 1875 at the Masteron Registry Office.
