Haagen Andersen Aarsbÿ was born on 20 Nov 1855 in Østre Toten, Oppland, Norway and the firstborn of Anders Haagensen and Nikkoline Madsdatter. [1] [2] He was christened on 26 Dec 1855 in Østre Toten. [3]
In the 1865 Norway Census he 11 years old and living on the farm with his parents, Grandmother and siblings in Østre Toten, Oppland [4]
