Biography

William was medium height and build with blue eyes and light colored hair. W. T. Anderson, one of Putnam County's most highly esteemed citizens and successful business man died Saturday after an illness of several months, at his home in Boma. He was about 55 years old and was a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by his widow and several children. Since his young manhood he had been engaged in the mercantile business at Boma, and for a number of years he was also engaged in the mercantile business in Baxter. He was one of the best merchants this section has ever produced. He was a man of the strictest integrity and enjoyed the confidence and esteem of all who knew him. Many relatives and a host of friends mourn the departure of this good man and useful citizen.
