When Jennie died 8 Nov 1834 at the age of 28, after having six children, Samuel married her sister Sarah Anderson and they had seven more children! The first child of Sarah and Samuel, Elkanah Bates was born March 26, 1835.
[Bates- John | John Glen Bates]] Jenny's fist child was born November 8, 1827, followed by:
James Bates, January 17, 1829-December 7, 1908
Andrew Jackson Bates, October 2, 1830-April 8, 1760
William C Bates, February 8, 1832
Her fifth child, Samuel Bates Jr., November 18, 1833-June 7, 1858
Her last child, George W. Bates is listed in the bible with no date. As Jenny died in November 1834, I wonder if she died in childbirth?[1]
