Hi!

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.

WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, our G2G Forum and of course, our Mentors :)

Do you have any questions I can help with?

Eowyn ~ Mentor/Team Member

This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community. We have many friendly members, feel free to ask if you have any questions.

I'm new to WikiTree but have been working on family history in Sweden and North America for 15 years, with lots of help on both sides of the "pond," and have visited ancestral homes in Jamtland. Family names of major interest include Anders[s]on, Bixo, and Blom in Froa and Morsil, Jamtland), Helstrom (in Ostersund), and Andersson (again) further south in Sweden. I've collected Swedish material going back to 1600s, and have translated letters and documents from 19th & 20th century sources. Always eager to exchange information about Andersons & Helstroms tracing back to northern Minnesota, more Andersons in California, and Bloms in Michigan.
