Biography

Mary Jane Anderson was born about 1837 in Pope County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Jacob Anderson and Drusilla.[1]

She married Benjamin T F McCool 14 Aug 1852 in Golconda, Pope, Illinois, the son of Benjamin McCool & Ellen Lawson.[2] Their children are believed to include:

  1. John Wesley McCool (1856-1921) m. Almedia Frances GRISHAM
  2. James McCool (1858-?)
  3. Jacob McCool (1860-1874)
  4. Lydia Mary (McCool) Ragsdale (1862-1924) m. Benjamin RAGSDALE
  5. Amanda J McCool (1865-?) m. Charles RAGSDALE
  6. Joseph Thomas McCool (1868-1908) m. Christia Ann MORRIS
