Biography

Edward was born Jun 6 1836 in Glennville, Tattnall, Georgia, son of Johnathan Anderson and Rebecca Grubbs.

In the 1850 census Edward (age 14) was in Tattnall, Georgia, United States.[1]

Edward married Louisa Dubberly Brewer on 22 October 1857 in Tattnall, Georgia, United States.[2][3]

In the 1860 census Edward (age 24) was in Subdivision, Tattnall, Georgia, United States.[4]

In the 1870 census Edward (age 39) was in Tattnall, Georgia, United States.[5]

Edward married Samantha J. Cook on 9 February 1876 in Tattnall, Georgia, United States.[6][7]

In the 1880 census Edward (age 44) was the married head of household in Tattnall, Georgia, United States.[8]

In the 1900 census Edward (age 64) was the married head of household in District 40, Tattnall, Georgia, United States.[9]

He possibly married Effie Register-Hilliard before 1910.

Edward died 14 July 1913 and is buried in the Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery in Tattnall County, Georgia. His memorial has links to his two wives and children. [10]
