Biography

Maurice was born in 1926, the son of Daniel Thomas Anderson and Jean Elizabeth Menzies. He married Joyce Harrington. The couple had children together. in 1963 Maurice was appointed, by the Minister of Lands, to the Cardrona public hall committee. He died in 1999 and is buried in Oamaru cemetery.

I note that Maurice is buried in a Returned Serviceman's Assn plot and has what appears to be a standard RSA grave marker. However it gives no details of his service and he is not listed on the Auckland Museum on-line cenotaph.
