John Henry married Laura Clarenda Rector (age 16) (born in 1873 in Louisville, USA; daughter of Newton Edward Rector and Sarah Jane (Keeler) Rector) on July 23, 1890 in Clay, Illinois.[1] Their children were:

John Henry died on April 6, 1935 in Clinton, DeWitt County, Illinois, aged 69. He is commemorated at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, DeWitt County, Illinois.[3] [4]
