Biography
Secret service for Confederate Government 1862. Joined Gen Sterling Price in capturing Lexington, MO 1861. Captured by Union forces & sent to Gratiot street prison in STL, MO 1861. Anderson Co., KS named in his honor. Licensed to practice law by Chief Justice John Marshall. Transylvania University Graduate 1849.
