Biography
Anders was born on 16 January 1822 and baptized on 24 February 1822 in Sør-Aurdal.[1]
According to the 1875 census, Anders was a land-owing farmer living in Bruflat with his wife and children.[2]
1883 Anders Engebretson and his two daughters and three sons came to America to the Cyrus area. Two daughters came to America a few years before the rest of the family. Some of them changed their last names. Anders son Martin changed his to Anderson.
His residence in 1822 and 1875 was Sagstuen, Sør-Aurdal, Oppland, Norway. His residence in 1900 was New Prairie township, Pope County, MN.
