over half of my ancestors are from England.
not a descendent, most likely. but I like working on the 'trails' cool stories of mayhem and struggle, real life, tragedy. makes me feel better about our times today.
Ancestors Whitney, Pierce, Craft, Hyde, Spring, Jackson, Johnson, Hemingway, Squire, Ball, probably others
thank you for certifying me! hope I can contribute competently.
Grandfather from Newmilns, so over 1/4 Scottish, probably close to half.

DNA Tested
Robin Anderson's DNA has been tested for genealogical purposes. It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Robin or other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:

Hi Robin,

In regards to Anne of Kiev, her birth location is in Old East Slavic, not Russian, as it would have been the language in use at the time. Considering that OES is an archaic form of Russian, it isn't likely that google translate would work irregardless of whether you're on Mac or not :)

Hi there, regarding Geddyng-3,

I simply adopted this profile the other day. I haven't done a single thing to it and don't have pre-1500 certification. If you do, feel free to remove the miraculously re-appearing parents. :-)

Hi Robin,

On behalf of the England Leaders, I wanted to say a huge thank you for all your contributions towards the project in the past six months as a Team Member for Bio Builders. We've achieved a great deal during this time and we couldn't have done it without you.

Are you happy to stay in your current teams and the project as a whole? Are there any other teams you'd like to join? What are we doing well, and what would you like to see us doing differently moving forwards?

Please respond to this message via e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks,

Susie, England Project Leader :-)

Thank you for the Bennett source for the Fuller family. I made a special spot in the biography for a Summary from Bennett. If you want you could add it. I'm not up to doing that now.

Just looked at your tree... my husband's mother was from Newmilns! Was there, myself, to visit her parents in the 1970s. Small, small world.

I have zero concerns about your editing any Layfield profiles. I am disconnecting from them, so you can take over.

Hi Robin,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Hello, Robin,

Thank you so much for responding to our check-in for the Miltary and War Project.

We are sorry to hear that you are not currently active, but we understand that life happens and interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Hello, Robin,

On behalf of the Military and War Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members.

First, we want to thank you for your past participation in the Military and War Project. We appreciate your desire to honor your ancestors for their service to their countries, or even for your service, wherever in the world. We hope that your membership has enhanced your WikiTree experience.

Please let me know, by commenting on my profile or sending a private message, if you are still active in the project, and if so, in which ways you have contributed to the main project or a sub-project within the last two months.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
