Priscilla was born in 1797 probably in Rice Landing or Jefferson in Green County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of James Anderson and Priscilla Israel (or House). In 1816 at the age of 18, she married George Moredock, probably at Rice Landing in Greene County, Pennsylvania. They settled to farm in that area in Jefferson Township where they had ten children together. Based on the real and personal estate value reported by George, they were very successful and well off. Priscilla died in 1841 and is buried with her husband in the Moredock Cemetery on Stockdon's Lane off the road between Jefferson and Rice Landing.
