James Anderson, son of Edward Edwards and Susan (Chaney) Anderson, married (1) 15 December 1820 Maria Williams and (2) 28 December 1844 Susan Rockhold. There was a very large family and it has been difficult to trace them with any success. The children were:

Henry Anderson, (Should be Henry Sellman Anderson).
Solon Anderson, (should be L. Solon Anderson).
