Biography

James Anderson was born in Mississippi or Alabama in 1799. James married Sarah Day on September 7, 1833 in Amite, Mississippi.[1]The couple had 12 children including daughter, Mary Ann (Anderson) Wilson.[2][3]James passed away in 1863 in San Augustine, Texas.

James Anderson's daughter, Saluda Isabell (Anderson) Boyd's death certificate (Texas) lists her father, James, as being born in Mississippi. However, some census records say Louisiana. Isaacs-1446 02:20, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
