US Federal Censuses in her lifespan

  1. 1900 [citation needed]
  2. 1910 [citation needed]
  3. 1920 census [7] does not list Helen (daughter) in the household. Enumerator lists children of age down to less than a year only two pages later, and on the same census date, so cannot be a systematic error.
  4. 1930 [8]
  5. 1940 census [5]lists Bernice as the head of house with her two daughters, listed as Widowed. The death index record for George Jagusch may then be incorrect
  6. 1950 [9]
  7. 1960 not yet released to the public record until 72 years after the census took place (to be released in 2032) [10]
  8. 1970 not yet released to the public record until 72 years after the census took place (to be released in 2042) [11]. Census took place starting 01 April, 1970, so Bernice was already deceased and would not have appeared. [12]
