Hi Darren,

The DNA Project has some suggestions for DNA related questions, such as adding DNA to your tags, and posting a question in G2G & adding DNA in the tags box.

We also have a project called the adoption angels and they also have some great tips on how to use your DNA to find missing gaps. Adoptees: How to Set Up Your Profile is a WikiTree help page specifically designed for new members who indicate they are adoptees. It is also helpful for non-adopted members who have adoptees in their family tree. The page includes links to more resources, like our Adoption Angels Project, basic search techniques, information on DNA, etc.

Tags become clickable links to others researching those names, or places, that you are interested in. They also control what is included in the family activity emails from WikiTree.

I was able to find two wikitree youtube video's about DNA if you'd like to learn more: WikiTree and DNA with DNA Guru Peter Roberts and DNA and WikiTree with Peter J. Roberts

I also found this interesting G2G post on a similar subject what can you do to find your biological father?

I hope this helps, but if you still have remaining questions please don't hesitate to contact me as I have some friends who are far more experienced than I am in DNA.

I wish you all the best luck Darren!
