Borland deceased) and David Linn McLean, 23, bachelor, Railway goods guard, of 14 Bark Street, Kilmarnock, (son of John McLean, Gas Work caretaker and Alice McLean, m.s. Linn) were married on 8 April 1921 at Co-operative Hall, John Dickie Street, Kilmarnock, after publication of banns according to the Established Church of Scotland, by Wm Marshall, Minister of St Andrews Parish Church, Kilmarnock. David and Sarah both signed. Witnesses were James McLean and Lizzie Anderson. [2]
