Biography
Johannes Andersson was born in Hällan, Gunnarsnäs parish, 10 September 1810 to Anders Halfvardsson and his wife Maria Andersdotter.[1]
He was married to Stina Svensdotter. They lived in Hällan and had two sons, Anders (1835) and Erik (1837) before Stina died in February 1840.[2][3] For some time he worked for comminister Helldin in Hällan,[4] then got his own accommodation.
4 November 1842 Maja Larsdotter, serving in Hällan since 1840, gave birth to a daughter, Charolina (Karolina) out of wedlock. According to the birth book the father was Johannes Andersson in Hällan.[5]
In 1845 he married Märta Jansdotter. First banns were read in March.[6] They had a daughter Karolina 5 June.[7][8][9] Nevertheless, we strongly suspect that he is also the father of Maja Larsdotter's second child out of wedlock, August Johansson, also born in June 1845.
Märta and Johannes had two more children and moved to Norra Bäckebol in the same parish,[10] where Johannes died 1 November 1852.[11][12]
