Jens Britanus Olsen Urke was born on 18 Apr 1856 in Hjørundfjord, the son of Ole Andreas Jensen and Pernille Birgitte Jonsdatter.[1]
In 1865 Jens Andreasen (age 10) lived with his parents and siblings at Aakre in Hjørundfjord.[2]
In 1875 Jens was listed at both Aakre in Hjørundfjord with his parents,[3] and in Trondheim as a soldier.[4]
Jens married Elise Antonette Bang on 19 May 1889 in Tana.[5]
In 1900 Jens lived at Lilleøen in Vågan.[6] He was a stone worker and mason and lived with his wife Elise and four sons: Ole, Birgir, William, and Erling.
In 1910 Jens lived at Svolvær in Vågan.[7]
In 1920 Jens lived at Lilleøy øvre in Svolvær.[8]
He died on 18 Jun 1925 in Svolvær.[9]
