He married Emeline PItre, daughter of joseph Pitre and Sophie Fontenot, on 7 Nov. 1833 in St. Landry Parish.[1]
Philippe died before 6 Jan. 1854, the date of his succession, at St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
