Biography

Portalis was born in 1850. He is the son of Joseph Andrepont and Eloise Fruge. ^[1]

He married Eleonore Bergeron on 25 Oct 1870 in Eunice, Louisiana. ^[2]

He died sometime before 1900 when his wife was listed as widowed in the census. Find-a-Grave lists his death date as 1891, but does not provide a source and does not contain a gravestone photo. ^[3]
