Biography

Arthur was born in 1855. He was the son of Robert Andrew and Ellen Appleton. He was baptised on 11 November 1855 in Harpurhey, Christ Church, Lancashire, England.[1]

In the 1861 census Arthur (age 5) was living with his parents, siblings and 3 servants in Moston, Lancashire, England.[2]
