Biography
Frederick was born in 1874[1] in London, England. At the time of the 1881 census, the family lived at 1 Tavistock Terrace, Islington.[2] Frederick's father died in 1884 at the age of 45.[3] By 1891 Frederick was working as a carpenter.[4] In 1901 he was working as a cycle maker for his brother Robert.[5]
In 1902 he married Florence Roberta CAPPS.[6] In 1911 the family lived at 55 Archway Road, Highgate, north London. Frederick was a cycle dealer.[7]
