Biography

Sarah Andrews was born in about 1819 in Godalming. She was the daughter of John and Ann Andrews. She was christened on 26 Dec 1819 at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Godalming (Anglican). Her family's address was given as Mead Row, and her father's occupation as labourer.

Sarah married Truels Christian Hansen in 1844 in St George Hanover Square district, London.

Sarah's father died in 1876, aged 77.

Sarah died on 30 Mar 1880, aged 59, at 30 Seymour St, Portland Square. The death was registered in Marylebone district. She was buried on 3 Apr 1880 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section, not very far from her father. The burial service was conducted by the Rev A Brodrick.

Truels died in the final quarter of 1897 in Guildford district, aged 75.[1]
