1848 7 Mar He was a widower when he married Grace Vardy daughter of Thomas Vardy (Deceased), Spinster in Yetminster, Dorset, England. His father was John Andrews (Deceased)^[5][6]

1851 Census Ryme Intrinseca. He was Parish Clerk and a Stone Mason living with his wife Grace and children^[7]

1861 Census, Ryme Intrinseca. He was Parish Clerk and a Stone Mason living with his wife Grace Andrews 48, Elizabeth Andrews, Dressmaker 18, Thomas Andrews Mason 17, Sarah Andrews 9, Eliza Andrews 8 and William Hann 23, a lodger.^[8]
