Hi,

I'm somewhat perplexed about the sources on this profile . You have him born in London om 1630 and died there in 1690. His linked son Thomas is said to have been born in Dorset in 1650. The sources listed below appear to be for three completely different William Andrews

Source 133 Somerset Heritage Service; Taunton, Somerset, England; Somerset Parish Records, 1538-1914; Reference Number: D\P\she/2/1/2 Shepton Mallet burial , 20 Jan 1689 , William Andrews son of William

This is most likely to be an infants or child's burial (son of doesn't usually get mentioned in adult burials). It is probably the William baptised in 1676

Shepton Mallet : Baptism 29 June 1676 William Andrews son of William and Rebecca https://www.ancestry.co.uk/sharing/24365259?h=818b44&utm_campaign=bandido-webparts&utm_source=post-share-modal&utm_medium=copy-url

Source 115 Freedom City of London Apprentice papers, William Andrews ( seems like transciption error, looks like William Sanders!) admitted 1756 https://www.ancestry.co.uk/sharing/24365294?h=762f01

Source 102 Norfolk Bishops transcripts Upwell, Cambridgeshire, Thomas son of William and Ann Andrews was baptised 25 May 1801 I've linked to the earlier page to that on your tree ( the transcript was on a long page and the two images overlap)

Basically, these are three different men and there seem to be no sources for a William born and died in London. It is also doubtful that any son (see Thomas) was born in Dorset, (120 miles or so away). A child born in Dorset is also not likely to have been baptised in Norfolk ( even further, about 250 miles away) Unless very well off, with riding horses or able to afford carriages people tended to marry within a very short distance of their parish. Even then, travelling to Norfolk would take many days. Not exactly 'courting distance'. There was certainly a man called Thomas Andrews buried at Melbury Osborne in 1699 but there was also a Thomas Andrews baptised in Melbury Osborne in 1670 https://www.ancestry.co.uk/sharing/24366413?h=ff02be&utm_campaign=bandido-webparts&utm_source=post-share-modal&utm_medium=copy-url (maybe Thos s[son] of Thomas Andrews)
