Dean Andrews was the founder of Congregational Church and also of Marshall College, both located in Marshall, Illinois. ^[3]

Obituary of Rev Dean Andrews ^[2]
ANDREWS, Rev. Dean died suddenly with on 14th day of September 1872, he died of apoplexy. He was born in Lovel, Maine on February 1808, graduated from Bowdin College, came to Clark County in October 1838. He married Louisa Shaw, who after the birth of 5 children died; he then married Dorcas E. McMillen on November 3rd, 1859 with her he had 3 children.
