Biography

Elizabeth Andrews was the illegitimate daughter of Ellen Andrews born at Horton in Dorset about 1864 and baptised at Horton on 14th February. ^[1] She was brought up in the home of her grandparents, Daniel Andrews and his wife, Jane Frampton. ^[2]

Aged 18 she was in 1881 working as a chambermaid in Wimborne. ^[3]
