John Andrews was the son of John Andrews and Alice Weyland,^[1]>^[2] Esq., Burgess of Ipswich & Bletchingley was born circa 1415 at Baylham and Bletchingly, Suffolk, Weston, Norfolk, England.^[3][4][5]

He married Elizabeth Stratton, daughter of John Stratton, Esq. and Elizabeth Luttrell, circa 1439. They had 2 daughters:^{[3][4][5][6][7][1][2]}
