Asa Andrews was born March 9, 1804. [1] She was the daughter of Samuel and Waity (Briggs) Andrews. A town burial record gave her name as Asacha, but it is the only source where this variation was found. [2]
Asa Andrews married Joseph T. Briggs, son of Caleb on June 28, 1828. [3] They resided at Rugar’s Corners in Potter. [4]
Although her gravestone indicates she died February 24, 1899, another record gives her death as February 14, 1899 at 94 years, 11 months, and 16 days. [5]
She died in Potter, Yates County, New York. She is buried in Yoak Cemetery in Potter, New York. [6]
