Samuel's three batchelor brothers John, Isaac and William followed him and after settling on a nearby property, they sent for their sister Ann, from Coleraine, to housekeep for them. The brothers had all arrived in the Manning River district after arriving in Australia on the 'Morning Light' in 1864. They had 7 children and lived at 'Honeysuckle'.
