Franciszek was born in 1884. He was the son of Filip Andrejczuk and Catharina Kolgonik. He passed away in 1982. Frank trained as a Blacksmith while living in the Ukraine. On 6 Apr 1904, Frank boarded the Blucher for the journey which would take him to New York, Montreal, and eventually Winnipeg. Upon his arrival in Winnipeg, one of the first people he met was Frank Zatylny, an old friend from the same village in the Ukraine. Frank Zatylny found him a job working for the C.P.R. at Kirkella, Manitoba. At Shoal Lake he met Frances and they married in 1905 at Portage la Prairie. After their marriage, they lived in Portage la Prairie where Frank was employed by the C.P.R., the C.N.R., and Lake of the Woods Flour Mill. Then Frank and Frances took up farming at Rackham and later Ozerna. In retirement they lived in Sandy Lake. They had a family of five - three daughters and two sons. Both Frank and Frances are buried at Saint Anthony's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery at Ozerna.
