DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Lucas by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Lucas:

Andrieszen-19 and Andrieszen-2 appear to represent the same person because:

The duplicate parents need to be merged first before they can be merged. Thanks !

Andrieszen-19 and Andrieszen-2 appear to represent the same person because: I recalled this from a rejected merge and then merged them.

There is confusion about his children. The sources say a child was born to said parents and then list witnesses. However, where is Lysbeth, Hildegond, Tieji and aefji, lucas? The dates are off for some- 16 yrs for gertrude. Did they all die? Why are they not listed as his kids anyway ? If dead, why is there "Wtnesses" was it a burial rite for kids? This says that Lucas himself was "christened" at the age of 40 ~ was this normal, perhaps if they joined a new church?Would the children be baptised seperately at different dates. I cant verify his sources for his birth. There is a dead link, a subscription needed, and a working link(my heritage ) that refers to a Caterina/not mother, nor listed child. This man needs cleaning up. For the purpose of the merge, its a go ahead.

Andrieszen-13 and Andrieszen-2 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest paternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge. No tree conflicts. These matches have been reviewed by the New Netherland Settlers Merge Approval System, and the "Green" destination NNS profile is protected as PPP, and the "Merge Pending" profile is now ready and able to be merged into it. I saved the data to the bios. And Brina, no, we would not want to place a red Do Not Merge notice on the of Andrieszen-13 profile, because he clearly needs to be merged into the lower number Andrieszen-2, which is already an exactly matching good patronymic that had been previously assessed and protected as tthe final LNAB for this NNS settler. We only protect them if they are a new good patronymic (or better LNAB) that is not already in existence with a lower number. Thanks!
