David Andrus was born on January 24, 1820 at Rutland, Jefferson, New York. David's father and mother were Ezekiel Andrus who was born in 1792 and Tryphena Gilbert who was born in 1789. David had 3 wives: 1st = Fanny Chase married David in 1842, 2nd Roxy Hitchcock married David in 1858, and 3rd Amelia Porter married David in 1870. David died May 2nd 1887 in Rutland, Jefferson, New York. David Andrus was buried at Riverside Cemetery in Copenhagen, New York.
