In the 1835[3] census she was living with her family at Veiðileysa.
She married Magnús Magnússon on Oct 7 1837 in Árnes parish.[4] They had 13 children.
In the 1840[5], 1845[6], 1850[7], 1855[8] and 1860[9] census she was living with her husband and children at Reykjarfjörður.
In the 1870[10] and 1880[11] census she was living with her husband at Kambur.
In the 1890[12] census she is a widow at Kambur, living with her son and his family.
She passed away on Feb 15 1891, 82 years old widow at Kambur. She was buried on Mar 14 at Árnes í Trékyllisvík.[13]
