Andrew Jethro Ange was born on 5 October 1901 in Martin, North Carolina, United States, son of Henry Blount Ange (1867–1942) and Martha Emily Mizell (1874–1950).

Andrew (21) married Lyda Elizabeth Browning (15) (born in Plymouth, Washington County, North Carolina; daughter of Joseph Henry Browning and Leona Iodean (Gurganus) Browning) on 25 January 1923 in Williamston, Martin County, North Carolina. Their children were:

Andrew died on 4 August 1959 in Plymouth, Washington, North Carolina, aged 57. He was buried in Jackson Cemetery, Plymouth, Washington County, North Carolina.[1]
