Abigail Angell was born on February 2, 1678/79/80 a daughter of James Angell and Abigail Dexter. [1][2]
She married Richard Waterman at Providence on April 1, 1697. [3] Richard was born about 1665, son of Nathaniel and Susanna (Carder) Waterman. [1]
In Nathaniel Waterman's will, written on March 22, 1711/12 and proved on April 22, 1712, he left lands to his son Richard, and Richard's son Zuriel, among others. [1]
Abigail died before 1742. In her husband Richard's will written on August 16, 1741, and proved on August 20, 1744, he refers to his wife Abigail as being deceased. [1]
In the will, Richard names the following heirs:
son Amaziah the homestead, land in Providence, all the land in Attleborough County of Bristol
son Richard 17 acres and anther 10 acres in Providence, and furniture
son Neriah land in Providence, land in Warwick
grandson William Field 100 acres in Warwick Purchase
three grandsons Thomas, Jonathan, and James Waterman sons of Zuriel, deceased the remainder of this land in ?Warwick
granddaughter Susan Waterman, 1 acre in Providence
